Thank you Neeka! I am considering just that.

One criterion for any place that I move to is a good public library nearby. We have a neat little library only a mile away, housed in an industrial building. The new library bond issue failed. It had a majority, but less than the required super majority.

I loved your story about the woman who got into navigation. That seems to be a talent of my family. My Dad navigated a PBJ, the Marine corps equivalent of a B-25, my sister has navigated all over the Caribbean, and my Cousin has navigated all over the Pacific.

I like to stay in sight of dry land, but enjoyed the navigation aspect of having my boat in Alaska. In the woods, I always seem to come out of the woods in sight of my truck. I carry a compass, but no GPS. I don't want it to ruin my nose for direction.

I'm in my 60s now too. Sometimes I wish I could have another life time to do the things that I want to do. There are so many.
