Al Gore would probably blame it on industrial effluent. <how Al proposes to stop the sun from going red giant and eating planet earth.> Astronomers know that the sun will turn into a red giant someday, and eventually engulf the earth. I predict that long before that happens, humans will develop infrared vision and start living in caves again. And some of us will depart for other galaxies. I am glad that I won't be around for that.
