"Basherfest"? "Basher" being short for Brinkerbasher, correct? It's ok to use that term? I was a little leery of using the term "basher". I read that some posters objected to the term and I was a little concerned that I may be reported for such language. I mean, one never knows what some people will do, does one? And you know what happens then. ("Discretion is the better part of valor", you know.) I have this feeling that some are looking for just such an opportunity. And I don't mean you, Ms. Honey.
Then we asked Octavian if he would still have met us if Stockalot had been there. He said sure, but would we then let him invite Ms queen. We said of course.

We found that one of the Brinker-"shills" is a very nice guy--in person. And it goes without saying that we "bashers' are nice people. 8^)
I for one am not at all surprised that dija is a nice guy. I always thought so, just from what I've read on the net. Most intelligent, articulate and knowledgeable, too, IMO. I suspect that most of us are or can be nice people in person. But if I recall, dija/octavian has frequently stated that the term "shill" is erroneous as applied to himself and counterbashers, in view of the fact that as far as I know, none of us receive any kind of reward from the Brinker org, and as far as I know, none of us post anything that we do not personally believe to be true, as a "shill" would do. And some think the term is therefore objectionable, so maybe that should be taken into consideration when referring to such a nice guy.
