I forgot to add after freeze up. I remember one time I had a one ton dual wheel truck without 4 x 4 in the middle of a swamp about 5 miles from a road. The tracks we had come in on were submerged in water and it took three hours to drive out on a new path with a guide on the roof. Another time that same truck got stuck going down a sandy hill and we had to dig it out three times. Again with the same truck on a winter exploration camp road with plenty of hills and dips and every time the truck in front of us would slow down I would get stuck. I'd let them get way ahead of us and then proceed at about 70 miles an hour but as soon as I caught up to them I would get stuck as soon as I slowed down. There wasn't enough room to get around them and I did consider using the push bar a couple of times.
