Perhaps, the only reason I started this thread was a pretty
solid consensus among the bears that the credit bubble pop
will be dollar positive (liquidity meltdown). They may be
right, but I just don't understand how this can happen,
given years of record trade deficits and increased
ownership of that bad debt by foreign entities. I can see
Argentina, Turkey, or (the worst case scenario) 1923 in
Germany, but not 1990-s in Japan.
