When China's economic growth comes down from the 7 to 10 % rate it has been running, I expect that it will be sorely missed.

Future generations will wonder why the populace did not make the people currently in charge of the economy "People's Hero for Life" and make sure they stay on the job FOREVER.

For example, how much would HK pay to keep Donald Tang ? What if he was offered a post at JP Morgan or Bank of America, like Robert Rubin has at Citibank ?
