In January 2000 Brinker recommended selling 60% of stock holdings. Did you follow that recommendation? That would leave you with 60% cash reserves. The October bulletin recommended that subscribers with conservative objectives use 20 to 30% of cash reserves. 20% of 60% would be 12% of the total portfolio based on the January values. Did you put in the minimum % recommended or a lesser amount? A subscriber with $1,000,000 in portfolio 1 would have to put $120,000 into the trade just to reach the minimum that Brinker was recommending.

If you put in less than Brinker recommended, I can see why this is no big deal for you. I believe Octavian once said his exposure was 4%. which comes out to 1/3 of the minimum recommended. I congratulate you and Octavian for having a stop on this trade. It is something Brinker didn't have sense enough to do.
