GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: October 15, 2007
Nice weekend recovery as total volumes move to 11.446 Bcf. Offshore rose by 160,000 mmbtu led by Anadarko's Independence Hub. Volumes hit 600,000 mmbtu on Sunday, down slightly today in the Evening cycle. As mentioned on Friday's report, October 2007 over October 2006 is now an increase in Production of 97,000 mmbtu. The GOM decline has been stopped for now.

TEXAS ENERGY BULLETIN: October 15, 2007
Prices on Friday dropped across the board, down 37 cnts in the Ship Channel to 45 cnts at Waha.At $6.46, Henry Hub is 3.6 cnts above Ship Channel at $6.42. Flows moving west from Waha to Ship Channel are up slightly, while flows from Ship Channel to Henry are up by 134,000 MMbtu. Socal dropped 43 cnts to $6.26 while Waha was off 45 cnts to $6.14. Flows moving west from El Paso to Socal are up to 207,000 MMbtu. The Socal index settled at 12.3 cnts over Waha. Panhandle was down by 49 cnts to $5.88.prices. Flows from Permian into Panhandle are up by 45,000 MMbtu. Implied heat rates are up to the 10x level due to higher power prices.

US POWER - GAS BURN REPORT: October 15, 2007
US gas burn rises by 606 MMcf today to reach 17.3 Bcf in total, a 4% increase over weekend burns. Burns on Saturday and Sunday were in the mid 16 Bcf range, a low for the month so far. SERC and the WECC show net increases today, but SERC just barely makes it above 1 Bcf. WECC is showing total burns of 3.2 Bcf, about right for this fall. The NPCC is down to 1.1 Bcf, from 1.4 Bcf all last week. The RFC is down 379 MMcf, less than a quarter of where it was at the beginning of last week.
