Hi Christine, I am one who is not offended by your posting of the summary of the book on Mother Teresa. While I don't doubt her early good intentions and devotion to the poor, that situation changed for her when she gained world recognition years ago, with the accompanying huge increase in donations. There has been no accountability for those funds, and the patients did not benefit from them.

The world media created the perception that Mother Teresa was a saint, and the public swallowed it. Another similar situation was Father Flannigan's Boys Town. I read where they once took in over $100 million to care for less than 1000 boys, but the media wouldn't touch that story either. Now we have Pat Robertson selling some of his media holdings for $116,000,000. Didn't these start off as non-profit. I'll bet the snake never paid a dime in taxes. Again, the media won't have the guts to look into this matter.
