Dan Rather's story was absolutely true. Bush definitely used his dad's cronies to evade the war., Not only that he went AWOL after awhile then lied about it and got away without finishing his mandatory service. If you believe any different you are a total idiot. It was the Bush campaign that got Rather fired, by pressuring the CEO of CBS who is a Bush supporter. That was a very sad day for American journalism and we should all support Dan Rather completely. Instead, we are replacing real news with partisan propaganda, all of it from the far rightwing which represents only a small and shrinking part of the population.
