OK, I got sucked in as well. I am very much a left brain guy, but it's clockwise for me. Only after staring at just the feet and tracing counterclockwise with my finger did I get it to going counterclockwise for a few seconds. But it quickly switched back to clockwise. Since me & IJ both see it clockwise, it's clear the rotation direction doesn't signify political leanings. But given the roster of clockwise folks, I'm now thinking maybe it measures testosterone levels.
