Alaska update: The first sentence was just handed down in the ongoing federal investigation into Alaska political corruption. Former state representative Tom Anderson gets 5 years in the fed pokey for taking a $12,828 bribe. Dude is a low level nobody who really should have copped a plea for minimum 3-year sentence. Thoughts are that other guys "in play" are more likely to deal now.
