i agree with Emat here boys, time to get back on subject, you guys are far to brilliant to be absent from the real concern of the thread. How do you see this sub-prime situation playing out? Are we indeed through the worse of it? as Paulson claims or is it the tip of the iceberg as Rogers and Faber etc., claim?

There is certainly no mortgages available today for anyone with spotty credit and in certain locations, such as minority areas, this is creating real problems, as most would be buyers can not qualify and many existing owners can't afford the payments. Foreclosures don't help because there is no market. If the banks control the actions of Ben B. as suggested on this thread then surely they would want to get the market active again?
