Uranium ready for shippng to the mill -



consider it's only the waste left n the pile -
the hghgrade shipped to milling -
in the 1960? -



a tailings pile in close proximity to
an abandoned uranium mine, last believed
to be operational in the mid 1960s, was found -

Using a hand-held Geiger counter on various areas
of the pile revealed the presence of high-grade uranium -

Certain areas registered as high as 4 percent -
while others registered between 1 and 3 percent.

the mine close to the old waste pile -
