They are not as rare as you would like to think and they will become less rare as more police forces utilize them. Frankly, I think the problem stems as much from the users as the taser themselves. In the article I posted, they said the guy got hit twice with the taser. How much you want to bet it was more than that?

Of course you have links to prove your numbers - which I've already seen and you're wrong as usual - running on your feelings and the number or frequency of news events which publish every incident giving it the appearance of common.

The guy hit twice from eye witness accounts, but always the suspicious mind regarding police from any country you doubt the witnesses.

It also said he died shortly after being handcuffed - perhaps those are what killed him - hmmmm, struggling uselessly against handcuffs seems to be a common theme in these incidents.
