You should be able to edit the security, change the symbol and change the fund name if you like to reflect the new Group/Class. Don't enter a "transaction" at all. Quicken will ask you if you want to copy all the old prices to the new symbol and name, say yes and it's all done.

That works if all the shares in that fund are being changed. If it's only some of the shares, I would change your initial buy transaction, reduce the shares there by the number being changed then set up a new buy in the new fund class with the old date and price to capture the right cost basis.
