I guess you're right, Rhodes wasn't mugged, but there have been regular death threats against many progressive media spokespeople, so it seed logical Rhodes was the next in line.

We also all remember the thuggish violence of the rightwing operastives outside the re-counting office in Florida 2000 keeping the re-counters from doing their job., Thugs in three pieced suits, most of the rightwing closet cases and corporate Nazis.
