Mark: I bought and installed Q08 on Sunday in order to see if the slowness was addressed. It was not. I have gone back to Quicken 02, which is snappy fast. Plus, with Q02 I can interchange data easily when necessary using QIF format. This ability was eliminated with Q04, I believe, insofar as brokerage accounts are concerned. I believe Quicken addresses the needs of the vast majority of the public. Active traders are a small market, whose needs are ignored. Still, I have yet to find a suitable replacement. peter P.S. I was able to have both 08 and 02 installed on one computer simultaneously.
