Terry,
Hope the job change was something you wanted and that it all works out well. Reality isn't always all it was cracked up to be. Not quite sure about SBAM's future yet. Still very speculative and risky, although lots of articles as of late about all kinds of new ventures. Not sure if it's really exciting or too much for this tiny company to bite off. Big swings the last two days, with a drop yesterday to 11/32 at one point before closing up to 9/16, and today @7/16, closing up to 17/32(slight down for the day). I don't usually like these kind of risks, but I guess if you have a small amount to play with there could be a lot of potential. Their management team appears to be quite good, and this could be quite positive given the fact that there were some problems with some of the other guys over the last year. They have mentioned startup of 2 different kinds of restaurants over the last 10 days....fast food Off-Broadway and Farm-Style Buffet(? if name is exactly right), with the latter to be opening in 10/96 in Calif. Also, recent grab of Universal beverage, where some of their management was from. also, involved with small food stores/convenience stores on west coast. If anybody out there knows of their stuff, please let us know. They also announced coming up with a good-tasting coffee with Vitamin c, so coffee would have nutritional value...not sure of the value of this for revenue. I think their low for the last 52 weeks was about low .30s and high in mid 1s. In other words, I have absolutely no really good impression yet. I guess that's how most companies start, but who ever knows which will be the ones which really move?! Thanks for the info about DANB. That Edison link sure seems to keep people edgy. The quarterly announcement should be the impetus to move one way or the other in the near future would be my guess. It's a small share company to begin with, so any dilution news would have an effect on the shareprice adversely, although if new shares are issued, they could potentially keep it to a reasonable minimum. More out-loud thinking with no basis.
Welcome back, and good luck with the job.
