Perhaps the following article explains your reference to ITXC since Vocaltec has taken an equity stake in ITXC . This may be the very reason that their Dir. of Research went to ITXC since they now have an investment in it with more to come.

Provisions Strengthen Infrastructure for Growing Internet
Telephony Carrier Market

HERZLIYA, Israel, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- VocalTec Communications Ltd.

announced the closing of a definitive agreement providing VocalTec with a
minority equity stake in ITXC and a first round of funding for ITXC.
