Where is the "ever increasing pressure in the Audio field". They dominate the sound card market and have for years. In the face of $25 sound cards, the SB16 has sold at $99 for more than 3 years and has gained market share. Profitability of sound cards (40+%)has not changed since the day they went public. Think you've been reading too many press releases from "the other guys".
