Leo, I think that we can both agree that posts based solely on animosity serve no purpse. Many times the long/short debate disintegrates into personal attacks. Incidently, I also think anyone who thinks that the discussion on SI can significantly impact stock prices is sadly mistaken.

I think that we can also both agree that the contrarian view is valuable because it helps to constantly test my positions. I certainly make my share of mistakes, so any advice or new perspective that others can give is useful. Of course only I am responsible for the actions that I ultimately take.

So we really agree for the most part. Our only disagreement seems to be that I would welcome even more negative views, so long as they are courteous and logical, and that I am apalled when someone attacks another who holds contrary views.
