I'm reading the latest posts in reverse order. Okay. If ADTN's earnings are to be announced Oct 14 we may lose yesterday's gains today. I agree that the run up may have had something to do with PAIR's announcement. With the bond market looking weak and another 3 trading days before the earnings announcement ADTN should "flounder" today and tomorrow. If it does not, the we are in a technical breakout with expectations of a good earnings report. Depends on volume and the overall sentiment of the market the rest of the week. You have to remember that in recent weeks 2 brokerage firms have lowered their ratings on ADTN based on valuation but it didn't seem to do much damage. If they hadn't, the stock would already be over 45$ pushing 50$
