Some woman died out there, probably lots more would have if not for the response of the local community. Which happened to be native. They set off in speed boats at 1:30 on a foggy, windy Pacific night, and effected most of the rescue ... And now they're so down the memory hole -- google gives me a gazillion hits on "Queen of the North" and some recent sex scandal, but nada if I add native/aboriginal/indian ... wtf?
