LIAR. The S+L debacle started under Reagan. There may have been minor abuses under Carter, but Reagan opened up the floodgates with Garnes St. Germaine. The pigs went rushing for the troughs after that. All the real abuses occured under Reagan because of that bill and the fact that Don Regan wouldn't let banking investigators enforce the laws. They wanted the crooks treated nicely.

You A-holes do this all the time, like trying to give Reagan credit for ending the Cold War yet admonishing him for Iran-Contra, the S+L debacle and the biggest deficits until GW Bush came along.
