Armitage and Novak say otherwise. And Fitzgerald didn't charge anyone with outing Plame.

There's no indication publicizing Plame's employment did any harm at all. If she had been covert, it would have been a mistake for her to arrange her own husband be sent on an information gathering mission that might point back at her. Furthermore, Novak has disclosed that Wilson himself wasn't concerned about his wife's being identified.
