Math asked:

"Speaking of shading reality, where the heck do you get this statement?

"you could not possibly have gained financially by subscribing to Brinker's newsletter from 2000 to now."

Well I don't think you've kept up with this discussion very well as your previous questons would indicate.

Queen said she did not take Bob Brinker's advice to sell any equities as a result of his recomendation in 2000.

Queen said she did bite on his recommendation to buy the QQQs.

She said she lost ten times as much not following his lighten up advice than she did in following his QQQ fiasco advice; and lamented her failure to follow Brinker's advice in very vivid terms.

So she acted as a buy and holder throught the bear market but also bought the ill-fated QQQ idea of Brinker's.

So I told her that I was sorry because she obviously got the worst of both worlds--didn't lighten up and bought the QQQs. You can't make it any worse for a subscriber of this particular guru.

My words were that it was obviously a waste of money to buy a newsletter for these years if you did as she did and only acted on his bad advice.

She took exception to that characterization.

Perhaps you can nit pick a way that it made sense paying about $1300.00 to not take Brinker's good advice and lose on his terrible advice, I just couldn't come up with one that would work on this planet. I'm sure you'll try.

AFter all according to you Brinker told subscribers who had invested in his model portfolios to sell the QQQs in November and go back to cash. I'm thinking that is the popular opinion on Jupiter or Uranus but doens't pass muster here.
