Hi Cisco,

I am reconsidering selling it. I bought it at 5 3/4 in May and haven't seen it go above 6 since then. And last night I saw Tamagotchis at Wal-Mart for the first time, plus a direct rip-off (including the same kind of packaging and very similar artwork) selling for $5 less. There were at least 15 Tamagotchis on the rack and no one was buying them. Either Bandai has its supply problems solved or demand for Tamagotchis is dropping off. And there are so many competitors now that Tamagotchi may not be a strong enough brand to withstand the competition. I can't see that Bandai has a strong advantage in this market any more.

I guess Christmas isn't that far away, and is probably worth waiting around for. We should also have a better idea by then how well the other Tamagotchi-related Bandai products are going to sell. I don't mean to be negative about the company or stock, but I am trying to take a realistic view: the record sales of Tamagotchis and the significant profits they should bring for Bandai for at least the next few quarters haven't raised the stock price the way I thought they would, and Bandai's opportunities for bigger earnings and profits are dwindling unless they come up with another hit toy soon.

What is everyone else's take on Bandai's situation? Is it still just being ignored by the investing public? Does it have a great earnings situation that Wall Street is unaware of?

Kirk
