10 21 07 week end update, NO CHANGE in the recommendation and that is to be 100% invested in the vanguard prime cap fund. stockcharts.com The chart above is the vanguard prime cap fund going back 5 years and has done nearly 200% profit in that time, and is an excellent investment vehicle, as long as the blue line is over the red line which is the case and so we stay the course. EXPECT THE MARKET TO BE DOWN IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS stockcharts.com the chart above is a monthly chart, the charts we use on this site are weekly, but the fact is the monthly chart is showing something of interest and that is the 13 month moving average blue line is providing support for price, this may be all greek to some watching this site but believe me if price falls below it , it would be a warning signal that I would listen to. We are very long in the current trend of 5 years and any sign of a move down will be taken seriously by me. Those watching my short term site know that I feel the possibility of a decline is real. But I want to see it on the charts first. What I think makes little difference to the market. I will be looking for a sign on the chart which we simple dont have yet. The chart above shows on the monthly chart that we are far from the support of the 13 month moving aveage blue line and the markets could very well fall to this support line in the coming weeks, so expect the market to move down in the coming weeks as it does its thing of going up and down in a trend that continues to go up.
