If you're using VectorVest, they provide several booklets on the software and trading. A good book to use with VV is "How to Make Money in Stocks" by Wm. O'Neill or IBD since VectorVest stock selections usually have the characteristics of earnings momentum and price momentum. An always good choice, using VectorVest or whatever, is to check out how many stocks in the same industry group as your stock candidate have buy signals. This will increase your chances of picking a stock that is "swimming with the tide not against". You can graph stocks and industry groups in VV to perform your visual analysis or TA.
