You don't know who the person is on the other end, what their level of experience is, etc. So make your own decisions based on your own research and knowledge, or hire someone (either by using mutual funds, or by subscribing to a newsletter). 2) If you are a novice, don't bother with options. If you think a stock will go down, don't own it. If you think it will be higher at some future date, buy it. 3) My personal observation is that online predictions of future prices are not predictive.
