Right. What is the intelligence? What was its source? If it is just beginning to emerge, it is rather dubious. The mullahs would have loved to've embarrassed Jimmy back in the days with it. But they didn't.

So I am dubious about this one.

The Iranians who left after the overthrow of the Shah are as bad as the Cubans in Florida. Some of them aren't above making stuff up, especially about Carter. Who they blame for the overthrow.
