I'm ok with water if it is appealing as a selection along with milk. My opinion is that milk is an inferior dietary choice for kids compared to water. To each his own. Fat milk was all over the schools when I was a kid, no skim offered. Water was not appealing as it was tap water. If water was offered as bottled water or one of those fruit waters that would suit me. I just want an alternative to fat milk.

If people want to feed their kids fat milk, fine. Just don't push it on people, and don't subsidize it. Pay market price thats all I ask.
