Osteoporosis is a beeotch

no joke.

i drink at least one 8 oz. glass of 2% milk everyday and that will provide 35% of calcium needs....people can supplements up the wazoo, but i'm convinced the body doesn't metabolize the nutrients nearly as well than as natural food

this link is to an EXCELLENT web site that provides nutritional information of the worlds healthiest foods (milk is on the list) without and ADVERTISEMENT or commercial promotion...well worth the time perusing

i can't imagine not giving a growing child milk (unless allergic)...it's really difficult to get small children to eat stuff like mustard greens <vbg>

whfoods.org

also, for those who cannot drink milk, i found this water at trader joe's that tastes great! i think one bottle has the same amount of calcium as milk

alps2o.com

back on topic..

people should drink milk because they are going to really need strong healthy bones to go out and chop wood to heat their houses as crude prices continues to rise...<ggg>
