One year ago Friday the Naz traded 2 billion 36 million shares across 3,353 companies. Last Friday 10-19-07, the Naz traded 2 billion 400 million shares across 3,266 companies, a new low for the 2000 decade.

In a single year there are 87 fewer companies yet nearly 14 % more shares traded against these fewer companies.

No one is characterizing these numbers properly. In the grossest sense, the numbers get a label from trade system mouthpieces like its an Over Bought market, when in fact the market is quite Sold out. This can only happen in the absence of functioning Supply and demand. There is plenty of rotation going on, its both seasonal and strategic. The goal remains for all money to own the right stuff looking into the future.

Competition for inventory of the right stuff is high, price is the psychological component of prevailing systems intent.

The cap and control algorithm adjusts price in proportion to need, the opportunity to churn, and the time before fundamental awareness permeates obfuscation, rendering it ineffective at any current price.

Earning season is upon us, rubiks will be working too purpose.

Remember your primary goal, prepare to meet em at the windows where your best DD tells you that any dip is a consideration of convenient speculation, targeting lack of understanding.
