I assume they are. The question is, how long between periods of sunlight.

The longer the satellite is in the dark, the longer it must rely on battery power. If its 12 hours on, 12 off - that would be maximum battery reliance. Periods less than that should allow for smaller batteries, I think.

Maurice may have just been testing our high school astronomy - or I've once again missed his point. At least this gives us something to do (besides calculating profits) while waiting for the first
launch.
