Off Topic...

With Intuit it's an equity thing...ever time checkfree advances $1 you but about .20 cents a share on Intuit's balance sheet.

Intuit's current value on Checkfree would go like this 10.6mm x $25 = $265mm. I've watched this "hidden value" grow in Intuit every since the deal was ink'd. Since then that translates to about $2.00 per share increase. If the market doesn't give it to Intuit I'm a Buyer.

Same thing is going on with Excite. Intuit has 2.9mm Share of that, at $30 a share that another $87mm. Which is over double what they paid for it, and it is SMOKIN this E-Commerce thing.

And if you look at Today's action...Intuit has rack'd up about $23mm on the ole balance Sheet. Man that's .50 A SHARE, and they didn't have to sell one Box of Software to anybody!

I'm telling ya...keep your eyes on it...if this news & market move Checkfree & Excite...and we get to looking like E-Trade or Yahoo...Intuit might be a place to park...and still be in the action, without the risk. It's working for me.
