Internap announced today that it is providing its Flow Control Platform Technology, which improves the performance of Defender Hosting
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ:INAP - News), a global provider of end-to-end Internet business solutions, today announced it is providing its Flow Control Platform (FCP) to enhance network performance for Defender Hosting.
Through the FCP, Internap’s intelligent route-control technology enables Defender Hosting to provide a superior managed hosting service to its 9,000 customers.
In pursuit of a way to better manage bandwidth and resolve operational expenditures used to manually troubleshoot their network, Defender Hosting selected Internap based on their high-quality technology and track record of successful, automated network optimization.
As a result, Defender Hosting has experienced a seamless improvement in traffic management, reduced latency and packet loss and decreased Internet routing issues.
“Internap is known for its quick turnaround and high-quality, cutting-edge technology for network maintenance and management,” said Thomas Kiblin, CEO of Defender Hosting. “Thanks to Internap, we can focus on serving our customers and delivering them a quality experience.”
Internap’s FCPs intelligently route traffic across Defender Hosting’s network while managing connectivity. In addition, the technology is configured to route based on cost, performance and application. The FCP improves transfer speeds and features robust reporting tools for tracking comprehensive network performance data over multiple service providers.
Snip
As previously mentioned, INAP has plenty of room to run, some people I know have a "target" around $50. <g>
