The best game I've ever seen an opposing team play against us on a Thursday ESPN game was Miami two years ago in 2005.

We knocked Hester i.e. the guy playing for the Bears now out of the game, we knocked Kyle Wright their qb out of the game, and we knocked out the starting tail back and they still went on the hand us our back sides to us on a silver platter.

After awhile , I just thought, wow, this is one of the best performances I've ever seen a team play against us as a visitor, and really enjoyed watching the game because of the sheer bravery of the opponent. People were getting upset, leaving the game; I thought how shallow ! We played a good game, it was just that Miami played a great game.

To put the icing on the cake, with Hester out of the game, they still returned a punt for a td. Awesome performance.

That's what college football is all about. Kind of like the Clemson game this year. ESPN. National audience. We put a whippin on them in Death Valley and they were helpless to do anything about it.. Lets hope it turns out that way Thursday.

Geaux Hokies !
