yes, stocks rise prior to inflation, "America the Beautiful" has history with this..seen it all before. Shorts will get crushed as the spigets start gushing real wide. NYSE short positions at all time highs will lead this mkt to the next leg in this pre-electionn year. Too much to lose. Most wil get squeezed longer then can stay solvent, and then in mid-late 08" it will take a nasty spill..but from which level is the question.
