the world seems to be assuming that turkey will get away with incursion into n.iraq/'kurdistan' and not bothering with possibilities that the festering will spread, contagion widen, and even team usa may have to face down ottoman reborn at some juncture, etc etc and about 10 other critical variations on the theme remainder of year 2007 and all of 2008 could be truly fascinating as opposed to just interesting gradually but surely, we are sliding toward global war the taking of sides, the sorting out of friends and enemies, the alignment of interests ... starting let's watch
