The point is that 60 years on the refugees are still a headache.... something should have been done to keep the problem from festering into what it has become today.... it has Not been in israels best interest to lets the palastinians pleight become a popular cause.

True enough. But it was the UN that set up the refugee camps and has kept them going for all this time. Humanitarian and all that....
