Insightful comment about the kind of stock ideal for covered calls, Carl.

I'm inclined to agree with respect to RDN. In fact I wrote only a small portion using the November 15s, as I consider this a deep value holding with a longer term perspective on it. Note the original post on the value thread.

My comment on it being optionable and putting it on the 2 option threads that I follow may not have been very appropriate. On the other hand, highly volatile stocks carry the kind of option premiums that are attractive.
