Re. Condor (CN)... I got to speak to Pat Burns at the conference and he was as informative as ever. He told me a great story about how they discovered high-grade float on the Ocros property in Peru only 2 or 3 weeks ago -- the one they're about to drill. After spending hours walking along the main creek on the property and finding bits of stuff but nothing spectacular, he and another guy decided to stop for lunch at the mouth of a sub-creek. While munching their sandwiches they noticed a few bits of float lying in the mouth of the sub-creek (but not in the main creek) and when they checked and whacked it open it was clearly good stuff. So they took a diversion and walked a few hundred yards upstream and found *lots* of this stuff, broken off from the hillsides all around -- where you could see extensive outcrops! It was invisible from the main waterway.

He showed me a few samples of this stuff and they're *extremely* heavy! <g>

While I was talking to him along came Brian Fagan of (The Fagan Report) and they clearly know each other well. Fagan told me he's being "giving Condor a bit of marketing advice". I don't see CN listed on his site, but I wouldn't be surprised if he's about to start covering it.

CN has some fantastic properties and it's been very strong for the last few days, so it looks like word is getting out. I really like the fact that the boss is a hands-on exploration geologist with a great track record of involvement with other discoveries. Also that he's lived in Latin America for 20 years or more and must know lots of key people in the Argentina/Chile/Peru mining business. Added to which he's just a very nice guy and a pleasure to chat to. No slick PR person at his booth -- just the president who happens to be the chief geo. :^)

CN is a "keeper" for me for the long term.

Best regards,
Howy
