a stable source of sales and profits. On June 16, 1997 the company
announced that it had won a contract renewal from the Applied Physics
Lab under their prime conract with the U.S. Navy worth an estimated

The company recently announced record quarterly revenues. Earnings
were
partially offset by higher personnel costs due to new hiring, an
increase
in research and development costs and by expenses typically found in
the
discontinuation of one product line and the introduction of a new
