So, what is going on with the 4mb part? Sounded from the CC like they won't really be shipping until the second half of '08? That's almost a full year from now, and six months since they shipped samples. Eighteen months from sample to volume? And a 2mb part (probably a salvaged 4mb)? I like the overall RMTR story, but I wonder how much more the technology can scale if they are having trouble at 4mb. Remember how they de-emphasized the future role of large memories a couple of CCs ago. Even so, the rest of the story sounds quite good, they seem to have found a niche that they can still grow substantially into.
