Excellent link, I can recommend it as a good read for all (see rec number 1 on your post). btw, no where in that post did I call you humorless. I quoted you as declaring yourself to be humorless on the topic. Once you did that, you own the characterisation not me and not anyone else, even if others make reference to it you have self identified as such, so no one else is culpable.
Your claim that I made such a charge as criticism of you for not laughing at some joke is simply not true.

Me: "I've noticed that some extremely ethical people object to any jokes that identify a group of people. Most people don't do that because they don't feel effected by jokes about groups they have no connection with, or because they don't want to bring reinforcing attention to a bad joke. But most people still object to some group identifying jokes because of how it effects them personally. They might have a son or daughter who is married to some one from that group or especially if they are a member of that group themselves for example. Then they object to that specific type of problem joke but tend to ignore others.
Black people abhore jokes about black people especially when told by whites. Normally a black person would find no humor in that at all, but I have seen Black and white people telling each other race jokes and laughing enjoyably without either getting offended. That is hard to believe but some black and white people are that unthreatened by each other. Bill Cosby is a famous example, as are Eddie Murphy and Whoopi Goldburg. But for most of us red, white, black, brown, yellow or somewhere in between, we tend take it personal. The same is true of sex, religion, nationality etc.
When a person complains consistantly over a long period of time about group identifying jokes of one specific genra, I think it is safe to assume they have a close relationship with that group and may be a member themselves. Especially when they keep complaining long and far from any event that could even be roughly interpreted as such a joke.
I can understand why a Pedo would object to pedo jokes especially when told by someone outside their circle. I can understand why a person like that would be compulsive about it over time.
