<< LPTHA is receiving not giving an order.>>
That makes sense it wasn't clear to me, so I thought I'd ask.

From 10-K:
Manufacturing

LightPath has rapidly progressed from limited production capabilities
prior to April 1996 to a full scale manufacturing organization in its 13,300
square foot facility currently leased in Albuquerque. In the larger facility,
the Company has begun to implement its plans for a high-volume blank and lens
manufacturing plant by purchasing appropriate equipment, expanding and training
a production work force and implementing process controls. Although the Company
has not produced high volumes of GRADIUM glass lenses, it believes that the
present manufacturing facility can produce in excess of 1.5 million lens blanks
per year depending on product size and mix.

1.5 million sounds like alot but think of the applications today for which lenses are used.
How many rifle scopes,
microscopes are made in a year to name a few?
If the marketing and educational promotions work as
planned the good problem of too much demand may effect the company.
A positve overall but...

There are several lawsuits from previous employees, consultant over unpaid wages. An uncommon Item found in 10-K. I hope management/labor relations are now working better than in the past. A happy work force is productive.

When I first looked into the company, one of the potential appplications that I thought of was for Photolithography
in making semiconductors.
The enhanced resolution could futher refine pattern etching. Techincally I do not know if Gradium is compatable with replacing current optical methods.
Just an idea to kick around on the thread.

I like LPTHA, but I'll play the devil's advocate.

The underwritter was D.H. Blair, have these guys cleaned up their act? Is there the potential for manipluation of the unlawful kind ?

Craig - thanks for all your informative contributions to this thread

Regards,

Denis
