Hey Griz, you mentioned motorcyles in one of your other posts, you ride! Cool.
I am one of countless "ex" bikers I guess. I never thought I would be without one, marriage and parenthood changed my thinking.
I used to road race back in 84 to 86, I was on an endurance team, and also rode some sprint races. AMA & WERA. Ever hear of a fellow named Scott Russell? He started amatuer racing the same year I did, used to ride with some of those guys in the North Ga. mountains, real "thrills and spills" kind of fun!
Once I made expert class my finishes went from top 5 to last 5, and those guys were all younger and meaner than me, so I gave it up.
I've had at least one model of just about every modern day motorcycle, except Ducati. I was a real "enthusiast" you might say! Even had a Harley once, a 1980 Sturgis...wish I'd kept it, that damn bike would be worth about 12 grand now....sigh.
