So what you like about coal, if we don't start building more coal plants the lights will go out. All I see being built is NG. NG drilling in Canada is way down. Did you know that you can finely shred Perrier bottles and make a sort of fleece lining for winter outer wear. In that sense the former Sen Allen might have been correct that with the Perrier concept you can get enduring warmth. The NG crisis of '00-'01 has long ago been forgotten - shielded by the warm winters and high storage the last two years. Down to 38 degrees in Washington tonight. Temp map shows below normal in the whole SE the next week. Not much talk about the effects of the drought in the SE on power consumption. They have some hydro down there. The heating is mostly electric.
